Core Athletics Australia – Refund Policy

At Core Athletics Australia, we are committed to delivering high-quality athletic training and development services. Our refund policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and outlines your rights and responsibilities when seeking a refund, credit, or transfer.
1. Change of Mind
Core Athletics Australia is not required to provide a refund or credit if you change your mind, decide not to participate, or fail to attend a booked session or program.
However, at our discretion, we may offer a credit or reschedule for future sessions if sufficient notice is provided (see section 3).
2. Australian Consumer Law (ACL) Rights
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund or replacement if a service:

Is not delivered as promised;

Is faulty or significantly different from the description; or

Fails to meet reasonable expectations for quality or fitness for purpose.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
a. Individual Sessions

More than 24 hours’ notice: You may reschedule your session at no cost.

Less than 24 hours’ notice or non-attendance: The session fee will be forfeited unless exceptional circumstances apply.
b. Group Programs or Courses

Before program commencement: A full refund (minus administrative fees, if applicable) may be issued if cancellation occurs at least 7 days before the start date.

After program commencement: Refunds are not typically available, but credits for future programs may be considered for medical or extenuating circumstances (with evidence).
4. Medical and Exceptional Circumstances
If a participant is unable to continue due to injury, illness, or significant personal circumstances:

A pro-rata credit or refund may be offered upon presentation of a medical certificate or supporting documentation.

5. Online Training and Digital Programs
Digital or downloadable training programs are non-refundable once access has been granted, except where required by Australian Consumer Law (e.g. faulty or misleading content).
6. Program Cancellations by Core Athletics Australia
In the unlikely event that a session or program is cancelled by Core Athletics Australia:

You will be offered a full refund, or

The option to transfer your payment to another equivalent session or program.
