Core Athletics Australia – Parent/Guardian Liability Waiver Terms

1. Acknowledgement of Risks

I acknowledge that participation in any fitness, exercise, or athletic training program—whether performed in person, online, or via pre-recorded or live digital instruction—carries inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Physical injury (such as sprains, strains, fractures, or overexertion)

• Dehydration, dizziness, or fainting

• Aggravation of existing health conditions

I understand that Core Athletics Australia, its directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates will take reasonable care in providing safe, evidence-based programming. However, I accept that injuries and adverse outcomes can occur even under proper supervision and instruction.

2. Medical Clearance

I confirm that my child is in good physical health and has no condition that would prevent safe participation in exercise and physical activity.
I agree to seek medical advice before my child begins any program if there are concerns about their ability to safely participate.

I agree to notify Core Athletics Australia of any relevant medical, physical, or behavioural conditions (including neurodiverse conditions, allergies, or injuries) prior to participation.

3. Voluntary Participation

I confirm that my child’s participation in the Core Athletics Australia online training and exercise programs is voluntary, and I understand that I may withdraw my child from participation at any time.

4. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I:

• Assume all risks associated with my child’s participation in Core Athletics Australia programs, whether online or in person;

• Release and hold harmless Core Athletics Australia, its directors, coaches, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability for injury, loss, or damage (including property damage and personal injury) arising from participation in the programs;

• Acknowledge that Core Athletics Australia is not responsible for providing medical care, supervision, or equipment safety checks in online or at-home environments.

5. Indemnity

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Core Athletics Australia from any claims, demands, or actions brought by or on behalf of my child or any third party arising from participation in the program.

7. Privacy

Core Athletics Australia handles all personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
De-identified training data may be stored indefinitely for statistical and research purposes to improve programs and establish normative benchmarks.
